In this course you will learn the dynamics of the stress response. You will be shown how to train these responses so they are less likely to occur, and are less extreme when they do. We will discuss how, as Restorative Yoga teachers, we can better create an environment within which our students are better able to access the parasympathetic nervous system – through which the body, mind, and spirit can access the sattvic state. Within this course, we will cover over twenty well-supported postures that can be used to create numerous deeply relaxing and effective Restorative Yoga classes.
The Red Door Yoga® Restorative Yoga course is approved by the Yoga Alliance and Yoga BC for 16 Continuing Education Credits.
